Ok, I'll admit, I would probably be considered way too old to be watching Disney movies, but I have seen Mulan three times already. (Ok, I probably lost all my friends right there) I think that Mulan is probably the best movie that I have seen in a long time. It's about time that Disney made a movie relating to Chinese history. As you can tell, I am Chinese. Some of my friends were angry because they thought Mulan looked like Pocahantas too much. Don't whine to me about it because this wasn't my opinion. I think she's beautiful even though she's a cartoon. The plot was really fun and it was loaded with dramatic irony and irony of situation. The solid symbolism really was nice. Alright, it seems as though I am writing an English paper here or something. I think that this is the movie to see for all ages, even though the darn baby in back of me was crying really loud whenever the Huns came out. I think Disney figured that no one of Hun ancestry would ever see this movie (yellow eyes are just a civil rights suit just waiting to happen). A last note, how in the world did Mulan put on her makeup so fast? You know the part after they find out she is a woman? Hehe. This is a fabulous page. The nicest looking one I've seen yet. Disney's Mulan never mention Hua Mulan was a general but you can read more about Hua Mulan in your library. I seen the chinese opera of Hua Mulan it was great .
