My compliments to your web page. I especially enjoy the collection of fan fiction stories as well as the excellent pics posted on your page. My thoughts on Mulan: this movie is definitely Disney at its best, merging the rich culture of China with beautiful animation, breathing life into it on screen. I would have to disagree with the critics that the music that accompany the movie was mediocre; in fact, I most denfinitely enjoyed most of the songs, as well as the delightful ballad/suite that provides an invigorating background piece to the scene in which Mulan commits to her decision. In short, I loved every aspect of Mulan, not only because it encompasses the familiarity of the Disney mold and still manages to rely on the power of the Chinese legend itself, it also provides evidence that a story about courage and fortitude can be just as appealing as one loaded with heavy-duty romance and famous names.
